Young Carers Support Worker

Working closely with the Young Carers Development Worker to support young carers and their families in your area, you will assist in the planning and provision of groups and activities. You will provide holistic support to young carers and their families, working in partnership with other provide holistic support to young carers and their families, working in partnership with other agencies to reduce the burden of care experienced by the young carer, and offer information, support and representation to their families. We will expect you to bring practical experience of supporting children, young people or families. You will already hold a Care NVQ at Level 2, or equivalent qualification, or be willing to gain one. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.
