Support Worker

Residential / Education Support Workers are required to work in the Leeds area supporting a University student who requires 24 hour care. The role will involve sleep in s, note taking within lectures, mobility support and general personal care work. The applicant must have a manual handling certificate and will ideally have experience of working with those who have cerebral palsy. The right applicant will be outgoing in personality and will be familiar with promoting independence. Experience of working with individuals who have epilepsy and require personal care/mobility support is highly desirable. This is a highly rewarding opportunity where, if successful, you will work as part of a small friendly team. I am also interested to hear from those who can be available on stand-by for the instance of sickness of the other Support Workers.
