We seek an assistant to the Chef Manager at a large college contract in central London. Candidates must have craft skills because the emphasis in this role is to produce meals for the students and staff from fresh ingredients. The Assistant Chef Manager will support the Chef Manager with the unit bookwork, on line purchasing and general kitchen management and stand in while he is on leave. A CRB disclosure will be required for this role which we will pay for. We will provide training in Pabulum systems.

Term Time Only. Experience is preferred but not essential. An NVQ would be an advantage as would a food hygiene certificate. Duties are preparation of food, washing up tidying up, serving food and ensuring at all times that health and hygiene standards are maintained. You may be required to cover for holidays and sickness. An immediate start is available. Hours are as follows, Monday 10am-1pm, Tuesday 9am-2pm Thursday 10am-1pm and Friday 10am-3pm.
